The Story

A Message the World Can't Ignore

Across Gaza, children are growing up under conditions no child should ever have to endure… and yet, children still dream. They dream of becoming doctors. Teachers. Athletes. Builders of a future that has been repeatedly taken from them. The Rising Dreams project was created to make those dreams impossible to ignore.

In April 2026, Jordanian-Palestinian mountaineer Mostafa Salameh and the expedition team will carry the handwritten dreams of Gaza's children to the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. So the world cannot say it did not see.

Why A KITE

A kite is the only piece of the sky a child in Gaza truly owns. It represents the resilience of children who refuse to stop imagining a future. Mostafa is carrying their handwritten wishes to the summit—lifting Gaza's voice to a height where the world can no longer ignore it.
